Job description

Strafe Creative is launching a Graduate Digital Designer scheme to help develop new and passionate talent. Our aim is to provide you with a well-rounded education on all things development, enabling you to climb the career ladder and expand your skills for the future.

Strafe Creative has offices in Nottingham and London, but to be honest, we’re flexible with where you work (as long as its in the UK). Some of our team pop in, some are fully remote, so it’s completely up to you. Another key thing to note is we really try to look after staff; lots of socials, budgets for courses/personal development, food, drinks and a really good family support package that includes enhanced maternity/paternity leave.

As a Graduate, you'll be supported with a one to two years accelerated learning experience, working on challenging yet exciting projects that are crucial to our growth. To help you reach your full potential, we’ll provide a truly supportive working environment. You'll be able to benefit from working alongside our knowledgeable design team and you will be assigned a dedicated mentor to help you progress quickly.

In return, we hope to see you passionately and proactively work to improve your skills. As an organisation we are open and honest, so you'll always be given transparent and constructive feedback and we're looking for someone who will gladly receive that feedback to support their progression and personal development.

As an entry-level role, we'll be building the foundations and knowledge you need for a successful career. Once you’ve got to grips with the basics, this is an awesome stepping stone to progress into more specialist roles.

Job requirements

Avoiding the standard list of expectations, we just want someone who loves designing digital products, which could range from websites to SAAS products. We love designing and want the same sort of people around us. We’re less worried about your CV and more concerned with seeing a portfolio that shows awesome web and digital UX work, we also understand that as a graduate you likely wont have much real life experience, but we're hoping if you have a passion for web and UX/UI that you'll have a number of personal or self briefed projects you can showcase. A covering letter which isn’t just a copy and paste job is always a winner too; it shows you’ve looked into us a little more and have passion to find the right role.

Don’t have much industry experience and looking for your big break? We have a great team and training scheme to support you and enhance your skills to get your foot in the door, and get bags of experience to become the designer you aspire to be.

Pay

Will be up to £22k depending the quality of your work. (Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK)
